Lynx Territories at the "Sabores del Quijote" fair (Castellar of Santiago, Ciudad Real)

This weekend, October 14th and 15th, Castellar de Santiago will host a new edition of the gastronomic and cultural itinerant fair "Sabores del Quijote", which, on this occasion, comes to this municipality to endorse small game, and specifically the red partridge.

The Life+IBERLINCE project will also be present at the event through the “Lynx Territories” exhibition, which everyone attending the fair can visit and see how the region has recovered part of its biodiversity lost decades ago due to the presence of the Iberian lynx.

"Sabores del Quijote", organized by the Provincial Deputation with the support of the municipality’s Local Government and the Tierras de Libertad Development Association, aims to be a trigger for tourism in the region by promoting typical gastronomic products, paying special attention to the red partridge as a star dish. At this fair, the gastronomy is adorned with cultural and sports activities, putting together an entire program for a weekend full of interesting propositions.
